Description
It is collected during summer in the dense oak forests of western Fthiotida Greece. Thick honey, with a dark color and a caramel flavor, without being particularly sweet. Rich in antioxidants and minerals contains large quantities of potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and sodium. The enzymes it contains support metabolism and vital organ function while helping with digestive disorders, flu, and fatigue. According to a study by the Department of Agriculture in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, oak honey has the strongest antioxidant activity of most known honeys worldwide.
